Surgery Training

Laparoscopy for Gynecologists

It is with great enthusiasm that we present the proposal for a comprehensive Laparoscopic Surgery Training program for Gynecologists, aimed at improving and updating the technical and practical skills of our member doctors. This training represents a strategic investment that will bring countless advantages and improvements to Unimed Curitiba, as well as contributing significantly to the quality of care provided to its beneficiaries.

The advantages of this training are numerous and can be summarized as follows:

Clinical Excellence: The training will enable our gynecologists to acquire in-depth skills in laparoscopic surgery, a minimally invasive technique that is associated with shorter recovery times and less trauma for patients. With the training to perform laparoscopic procedures safely, efficiently and accurately, our doctors will be positioned to offer high-quality treatment options, promoting better health outcomes for our beneficiaries.

Specialized Care: By mastering laparoscopic surgery, gynecologists will be able to approach gynecological pathologies with less invasive approaches. This will translate into more precise surgical procedures with fewer risks, as well as reducing the need for more invasive surgical procedures. With this focus on specialized care, they will be able to attract and retain patients seeking more advanced treatment options.

Cost Reduction: Laparoscopic surgery has been associated with lower costs compared to traditional surgical procedures, due to shorter hospital stays, less need for post-operative medication and faster recovery. By training our gynecologists in this technique, we can contribute to reducing the hospital and healthcare costs associated with surgical procedures.

Credibility and Competitiveness: By offering high-quality training in laparoscopic surgery, Unimed Curitiba is demonstrating its commitment to clinical excellence and the professional development of its member doctors. This will strengthen our credibility as a leading healthcare provider and make us more competitive in a market that values innovation and clinical expertise.

Patient Satisfaction: Unimed Curitiba beneficiaries will be the main beneficiaries of laparoscopic surgery training, as they will have access to advanced procedures performed by skilled doctors. Less invasive procedures result in less post-operative pain, smaller scars and faster recovery. Patient satisfaction tends to increase when they receive high-quality healthcare that minimizes discomfort.

In summary, the implementation of Laparoscopic Surgery Training for Gynaecologists at Unimed Curitiba will bring concrete benefits to our member doctors, their beneficiaries and the organization as a whole. We are confident that this initiative will raise the standard of medical care we offer and strengthen our position in the healthcare market.

Thank you for considering this proposal and we are happy to discuss the details and next steps.

Sincerely,
Dr. Reitan Ribeiro

Concept, Practice & Immersive Environment

Methodology

The robotic surgery course will be taught in a hybrid format, with a total workload of 178 hours, to ensure a more balanced and high-quality learning experience. The integrated methodology aims to provide the best learning experience and the development of surgical skills.

The course is organized into five modules, which cover a variety of activities. Initially, students attend online theory classes, providing a solid foundation of essential knowledge. Next, they undergo practical training with face-to-face simulators, which offer a safe and controlled introduction to surgical techniques. The training progresses to practice on live models, providing a more advanced and realistic practical experience.

Throughout the course, students also have the opportunity to observe and assist in real surgeries, allowing them to gain direct experience in the clinical environment. The culmination of the training is supervised surgery, where students apply what they have learned under the guidance of experienced specialists. In addition, there is online mentoring of surgeries, offering continuous support and feedback to students.

MODULAR DYNAMICS

Assessment and Certification
