INTRODUCTION

Robotics has been expanding the possibilities of hepatobiliary-pancreatic surgery, especially in procedures that require precision, a refined understanding of anatomy, and safety in complex situations.

At Scolla, the training program was designed to familiarize surgeons with robotic surgery in a structured environment, featuring a simulator and a surgical robot located within the training center itself. This integration allows for a more focused, hands-on training experience that is closely aligned with the real-world demands of HPB surgery.

During the program, participants go through the main stages of robotic training, including console training, bedside training, simulation, and hands-on practice in the animal lab, with a focus on developing technical skills, understanding the platform, and applying robotics to more complex procedures.

What You'll Find

Robotics & Dynamics
