The course will be taught in two stages: The first stage is distance learning, with online classes focused on the equipment and step-by-step techniques for the main surgical procedures. The second stage is in-person. During this stage, students will consolidate their theoretical knowledge and perform practical activities of increasing complexity as part of a specially designed hands-on training program using inanimate models and anatomical specimens. In addition, they will have the opportunity to observe and discuss live surgeries.

Training Center with High-Tech Equipment

Hands-on training using anatomical specimens

Advanced Training in the Operating Room

Composed of a faculty of nationally and internationally renowned doctors and professors

Theoretical and practical instruction in technical skills for direct application in clinical practice.

Concept, Practice & Immersive Environment

The training is both theoretical and practical, and we will cover the main topics in laparoscopy, including a discussion of surgical techniques.

All training will cover the following topics:

  1. Equipment Knowledge:Includes theory on laparoscopic instruments and hands-on practice using simulators to become familiar with their precise handling.
  2. Surgical Skills:Physicians participate in hands-on training to improve essential motor skills and engage in clinical case simulations to develop decision-making skills.
  3. Laparoscopic Procedures:The theoretical classes provide a step-by-step breakdown of the main procedures, while practical demonstrations offer a visual and hands-on understanding.
  4. Complications and Prevention:This section discusses the analysis of outcomes and complications, with a focus on strategies for preventing and managing adverse events.
