With the advance of innovative and minimally invasive techniques in the treatment of lung diseases, there is a need for training to master them and achieve a level of excellence in performing them safely and effectively.

The course will feature nationally renowned professionals to provide students with qualifications and training in therapeutic bronchoscopic procedures, which are advancing at an unparalleled rate. In addition to improving working practices and finding solutions, the course provides direct contact with the professors, allowing networking to be expanded.

He has a degree in MEDICINE from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003) and a master's degree in Surgery from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2011). He is currently a thoracic surgeon at Unimed Belo Horizonte Cooperativa de Trabalho Médico, thoracic surgeon at Hospital Vila da Serra, thoracic surgeon at Rede Mater Dei de Saúde, thoracic surgeon at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and assistant professor at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. He has experience in Medicine, with an emphasis on Medicine, working mainly on the following subjects: robotic surgery, thoracic surgery, video-assisted surgery and lung cancer.

Dr. Benoit Jacques Bibas

He graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and did his residency in General Surgery at the Central Hospital of the Military Police of Rio de Janeiro (HCPM-RJ) and in Thoracic Surgery at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (USP). He was a preceptor in the Thoracic Surgery Discipline at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (USP) and is an AMB Specialist in Thoracic Surgery and Respiratory Endoscopy. He has been an assistant physician at the Thoracic Surgery Discipline of the USP Medical School since 2013, and works mainly in the treatment of diseases of the trachea. He also evaluates patients with tracheostomies, both adults and children. His aim is always to improve the patient's quality of life and, if possible, to decannulate the tracheostomy.

He graduated in Medicine from the Escola Superior de Ciências da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Vitória and has a medical residency in General Surgery from Hospital Guilherme Álvaro, which he passed in the SUS-SP competition. Medical residency in Thoracic Surgery at UNIFESP (Escola Paulista de Medicina) with training in Oncological Thoracic Surgery (A.C Camargo Cancer Center). Master's degree in Oncology Sciences from A.C. Camargo Cancer Center completed in 2019. Currently a thoracic surgeon and head of the interventional bronchoscopy department at A.C.Camargo.

He graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Bahia (2007). Trained in general surgery at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo and in thoracic surgery at the University of São Paulo. Fellowship in interventional respiratory and digestive endoscopy at the University of Montreal and in minimally invasive thoracic surgery at the Institut Universitaire de Cardiologie et de Pneumologie de Quebec (IUCPQ).

He has experience in Medicine, with an emphasis on Tracheal Surgery and Videothoracoscopy.

Hello, I'm Dr. Ricardo Gonzales, I'm from the city of Assis in São Paulo, I'm a postgraduate student in Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular Surgery, today we're here at our fourth meeting and these last few weekends have really been fantastic from a training point of view for us, there are new things, new paradigms that we're breaking here and it really has been a fantastic experience.
