Dr. Mariano Palermo is a bariatric and gastrointestinal surgeon in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He specializes in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. He is the current Bariatric Surgery Coordinator at CIEN – DIAGNOMED Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and leads the multidisciplinary bariatric team focused on treating obese patients. He graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires and is a specialist in general and gastrointestinal surgery. He is a physician at the Prof. A. Posadas National Hospital. Professor of Surgery at the University of Buenos Aires. He conducted postdoctoral research in the U.S. under the supervision of Professor Michel Gagner.
