HAIR TRANSPLANT

2024

In Brazil, according to data from the Brazilian Society of Dermatology in 2020, there are around 42 million people with baldness. However, despite the high demand for treatments such as FUE hair transplantation, this technique is still relatively new and few doctors are trained to perform it. The hair transplant boom began in 2015 in Turkey, which has become an important reference center with more than 2,000 specialized clinics. Recently, Brazilian doctors have become interested in this treatment, following the model adopted in Turkey. However, we still don't have enough trained professionals to meet the growing demand for hair treatments.

We invite all interested students to take part in the Postgraduate Course in Hair Transplantation, where they will be offered essential training and qualifications to become specialists in this growing area. Join us and be part of this mission to provide effective solutions to baldness and meet the growing needs of this market.

We're waiting for you!

METHODOLOGY

Our approach to training encompasses both theoretical and practical training, with the aim of providing in-depth knowledge of the workings and technological components that surgery requires:

During the face-to-face training sessions, participants will have the opportunity to use the simulation center and operating room, focusing not only on routine operation, but also on solving problems that may arise. Complementary pre-clinical training will also be offered, aimed at developing fundamental motor skills through simulations of the surgical techniques covered in the training.

Surgical techniques will be taught through the observation of real cases, allowing students to experience the role of assistants in surgical procedures, as well as carrying out procedures under direct guidance and supervision. All these steps will be accompanied by a preceptor surgeon, who is highly experienced and has solid knowledge in the technical area being trained.

Classes will be taught in a variety of ways:

  • - Lectures available in distance learning or face-to-face format, depending on the module, given by leading professionals in the field, with presentations of surgeries and discussions of clinical cases.
  • - Practical training in simulators and cadaveric models.
  • - Performing procedures under guidance and direct supervision on real patients;
  • - Development of a Course Conclusion Paper (TCC), offering an opportunity for scientific initiation, preparation of research projects and presentation of the results.
