Message from the Coordinators

Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (M.I.C.S.) is the current frontier of development for our professional specialty, driven by the enormous technology involved and still in rapid development, as well as our clients' inexhaustible search for pain-free procedures with minimal trauma, enabling excellent results with less traumatic and more aesthetic treatment experiences.

M.I.C.S also presents a unique opportunity for the biomedical industry to develop devices, prostheses, sutures and surgical materials suitable for use in videoscopic and robotic access.

BRAZIL MICS represents the opportunity to bring together the leading experts in the field of cardiac surgery in Latam, using a model that is unprecedented in Brazil, to discuss all the topics of cardio-robotics, endoscopic and video-assisted cardiac surgery with the participants in a very intimate way.

We will also have live cases operated on by these experts, as well as post-simposium cadaver lab courses with the invited professors, allowing for unparalleled networking with all the medical authorities present. Finally, it should be noted that the event will be led by the coordinators of the Postgraduate Program in Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular Surgery, a pioneer in Brazil and the only program to train more than 50 cardiac surgeons in Postgraduate Studies.

The main topics will be Mitral Valve, Aortic Valve, Arrhythmia Surgery, Cardio Robotics, Myocardial Revascularization, exhaustively debated by experienced professionals, during the 2nd Brazil MICS: International Symposium on Mini Invasive Cardiovascular Surgery and Robotics, the Pre-Symposium courses will take place on August 28; on August 29 and 30, 2025, the Symposium of the specialty; and on August 31, the
Post-Symposium courses, in Curitiba - PR.

A dynamic, interactive event full of debates, surgeries, technical demonstrations and discussions of clinical cases. In addition, realistic simulation is a possibility through hands-on practical training on simulators and live models.

It will be an honor to welcome you to this event, which promises to be a great success.

We're waiting for you!
